1968 Frédéric is born at hopital Saint Georges in Mons, Hainaut, Belgium from parents André Caudron and Rose Urbain. He is the second of two brothers. His father, André, is an enthusiastic carom billiards player of a good level
1978 The Belgian team wins the Coupe van Beem in Enschede, the Netherlands. Coupe van Beem is a yearly tournament for young players where a team from Belgium, from Germany and from the Netherlands compete. Frédéric wins his game against a much older player and is encouraged to continue training.
1982 Frédéric starts training under the direction of great carom billiards champion Emile Wafflard .
1986 Frédéric is 18 years old, he is in the highest player category in all disciplines on competition tables. This is a world record currently still holding.
1987 Frédéric wins the European juniors championship balkline 47/2 in Boussu, near his hometown. This is a very important step in his career.
1988 Frédéric and his family open billiards parlor Arcades in Frameries, World championship team triathlon in Essen, Germany.
1991 Frédéric wins the World championship balkline 71/2 in Murzzuschlag.
1994 Frédéric wins the Belgian championship 3 cushions in Casteau,
This is a very important victory for several reasons: a victory near his hometown, in presence of all his local friends; a championship organized and managed by Frédéric's father, André; and an occasion to show his worth at the 3 cushions game against Belgium's finest.
1995 Frédéric moves to the Belgian region of Antwerp, which is much better situated for a billiards player as it's closer to the main regional competition centers in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. He settles first in Schoten, then 4 years later in Schilde, then finally in Balen, at the limit between the provinces of Antwerp and Limburg.
1997 Frédéric breaks the World record average at the 3 cushions game by realizing 45 caroms in 9 innings (average of 5) -- in Taegu, Korea.
1999 Frédéric wins the World championship 3 cushions in Bogota, Colombia
November 26 Frédéric weds Diana Paola Bermudez Rodriguez in Bogota, Colombia.
December 5 Frédéric's father, André, dies unexpectedly at age 54 from the breaking of a blood vessel.
2000 Frédéric wins the World championship balkline 71/2 in Albert, France.
2002 As a result of the loss of their father and husband, the family decides to give in to their billiards parlor. Frédéric finally becomes a full-fledged professional billiards player.
2003 Frédéric wins the World championship balkline 47/2 in Ronchin, France, and breaks the World record for the general average (126.66)
